Dworshak Project Boundary Surveys

This project is an ongoing endeavor for the US Army Corps of Engineers. The project entails surveying, monumenting & posting the boundary of the Corps’ holdings surrounding the Dworshak Reservoir, located in the Idaho Panhandle. To date, we have completed approximately 20 miles of surveys over the past 10 years.

The extreme terrain associated with the Dworshak reservoir offers some excellent views and photo opportunities, but also contributes to the difficulty of the project. The heavy tree canopy makes this one of the few large-scale boundary projects we have undertaken recently using conventional survey techniques almost exclusively.
